Was founded in 1862 by mr Wilhelm Christian Bech performing shipbrokering

and shipsagency activities at the Port of Horsens. The company was later taken over by descendants and later on by other owners. Last in the year of 2005 BECH GRUPPEN A/S has been taken over by a new group of investors with the purpose of continously developing tthe company in tact with time and the customers requirements of transport of goods / logistics etc.

The mainactivities of the company has through time always had its basics in shipbrokering, which has developed to also include shipowning and contracting of new-buildings as well as tecnical agencies / sales agencies to both the maritime sector and shorebased customers. Futhermore activities within stevedoring / warehousing /terminals has become a part of the company-foundation and BECH GRUPPEN A/S today is owner of approx 18,000 sqm of warehouses / terminals at the Port of Horsens being situated directly at the quays and next to the quay-areas. Horsens Vejer & Måler ( Weigher / Measuring ) is also a company within BECH GRUPPEN A/S on the address; 28, Grønlandsvej in Horsens.
